Convinced of the need to provide quality engineering service by nationals our
General Manager Mr. Walker R. Richards started Richards Engineering as a
small engineering and manufacturing enterprise in 1998 based in Monrovia,
Liberia West Africa.
Mr. Richards a civil engineer acquired his Bachelors degree from the University
of Liberia in Monrovia. During the years of civil strife in his country Liberia, Mr.
Richards was fortunate and had the foresight to undertake post graduate
studies in sanitary engineering with specialization in urban water supply in Delft
the Netherlands through a fellowship grant from the Dutch government.
Walker Richards has twenty years of engineering practice in Liberia; having
served in several engineering and managerial capacities with government, the
United Nations and private sector.
He is a member of the Liberian Engineering Society, the Liberian Association of
Construction Contractors an organizing member of the Liberian society of Civil
Engineers.

A devout Christian, Mr. Richards is a member of the Bethel World
Outreach Ministries in Liberia.
Mr. Richards is married to Amelia his wife of twenty years; they have
three lovely children.
